Why are people still reading this?
There's not one single word of interrest in here, and I've never advertised it...
Keeps the bots busy, I guess.

ShoZu has GREAT support!
In my other blogs, Stupid Parking and Our House
, I use ShoZu to post pictures directly from my N95. It's free, and it work great!
I had some problems with my photos disappearing from the ShoZu servers without any apparent reason, though.
Here is the email I sent to their support on the 12th of march;
I guess there's a problem with your servers or something. If you look at my blog: http://house.geving.no you will see that all of the pictures hosted by you are down.
I didn't expect much, as this is a free service. However, on the 25th I got this reply;
Hi Harald,
Thanks for your email. I had a look at your ShoZu account and although I can see records of the image links being forwarded to Blogger, I cannot actually see those files stored on our servers at present (this would explain the broken links where Blogger has pointed back to our servers). Images are usually only removed from our servers after they are deleted from the phone or an account is closed/reopened/cleaned down due to corrupt data being stored in the account. However, because you uploaded the images to a blogging site, deleting them from the phone should not result in the images being removed from our servers. The reason for this is because most of the blogging sites link back to images stored on our servers rather than storing the images on their own servers.
If the problem is still occurring with images that have been uploaded more recently, please let me know. Can you also let me know if the images that are no longer on the ShoZu's servers were removed from your phone?
Kind Regards,
Jared
ShoZu Support
Ok, great! They've actually read my email, and it seems like they're actually interested. I replied right away;
Jared,
I can confirm that the pictures are deleted from the phone.
The Nokia Data suite does this automatically after copying the files to the computer.
If not, I’d have a rather full memory card.. ;)
Ps. Ever considered making a “Premium” service, where one can opt-out the ShoZu logo in every post?
At the right price, I’d buy it for sure!
I thought no more of it, seeing as I'd gotten some kind of explanation to my problem.
But today, about one month later, I got another email;
Hi Harald,
I raised this issue with the server team and they came across a server bug which has now been fixed. Basically, under certain circumstances users who uploaded to Blogger and then deleted the images off their phone were finding that a delete request was also being sent up to the ShoZu servers. However, you should find that this problem no longer exists. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
Cheers,
Jared
Wow! I did not expect that at all!
It seems that ShoZu is not only a great FREE service, but they also seem to take good care of their users. I'm impressed!
Let's just hope they take me up on that Premium suggestion..

Testing Microsofts new "Live Writer"
This post is published using Microsoft Windows Live Writer.
It looks promising as an editor. Absolutely no Only some fuss during the installation...
Test picture insert; OK!
Watermarking is a nice feature too.

Wedding in Paris - Day 1
It was hard, seing as we didn't get to bed until midnight..
Now, luckily, our airport (TRD) isn't the biggest one you've seen..
It has about 47 gates, so it's not a problem to find ones way around.
After boarding the plane, we discovered that KLM has a different view on the word "Service" than SAS or Norwegian, as we usually travel with.
KLM was GREAT at service. The airplane didn't look as good as SAS or Norwegians though..
It seems that KLM doesn't take the maintenance of the interior as serious as the other airlines.

Is this (c/b)log doomed? The K800i is replaced

I've replaced my SonyEricsson K800i with a Nokia N95.
That could cause a problem regarding the survival of this blog/clog/whatever...
The N95 doesn't naitively support blogging to this blog.
It has something called a "Lifeblog", but that sucks bigtime:
* NOT FREE
* NOT ABLE TO USE MY OWN DOMAIN
* NOT FREE
* Custom software needed to post from a PC
But we'll see..
I can still blog to this site via mail from the phone, but the pictures won't be added automagically... :(
I caved under the pressure! I registered at Facebook...
Especially not the big hypes on the net!
I never had a descent "homepage".
I have no idea what "MySpace" is all about.
I don't have a blog, but merely a "clog".
But... Now I've registered at Facebook!
Ok, so this might seem like a big thing, but I just want to comment on it because it's very "out of character"for me!
So, my facebook can be found here;
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=621636081
Or just search for "Harald Geving"
That's all for now.
Have a good one!
